Well, long story short, I was playing Dragon Warrior Monsters last night and thought I'd crank out a little deviation because I haven't in a while. Enjoy!

That is a very large Battlerex. I forget its new name.
The Imp is very cool.

I believe that they call it a Hackasaurous now? And thank you ^-^
:icongymnotide:
Er, maybe. I was wondering if it was also a Tyrantosaurus. That one might be the brown one. Was there also a red one? D:
:iconenigma-marx:
Think so, but yeah, the tyrantosaurous is the brown one. Atleast on DQM Joker...
:icongymnotide:
There's no red one. Just checked.

Yeah, I played the game, but somehow, the 3D graphics and non-tiled movement set me off.

I loved the old versions though~

Yeah, I agree... but it was still fun XP Seemed not to have as many oppurtunities or monsters as the GBC ones... those too were my favorite.

I don't like the breeding charts now - a lot of things are near impossible to fuse now. Added to the harder-to-get monsters... Not fun!

But on the brighter side, the DS game actually uses the stats / stat growth functionality and a better tree system so not all things have perfect skills and 999 stats.

In the GBC game, I had a team of 3 Goldslimes, each maxxed from "Boss" land's monster masters who give +10 to a random stat. Since magic was fully customizable back then, I just gave them all HealUsAll, Revive, Gigablast, and all the good stuff. Then there was MegaMagic and MPass.

At least it's more balanced now.
